Balustrades with extra skirting board to provide fall protection for people and objects

The extra skirting board at the bottom of the TD Mezza balustrade decreases the risk of slipping under the balustrade. On elevated platforms, there is always an increased risk of pedestrians, objects or hand pallet trucks to slip and fall down. This is why we had the idea to install an impact-resistant skirting board along the bottom of this handrail which prevents objects and people from slipping through.
