Sleepworld, the sleep comfort specialist, operates a large logistics centre for the storage and distribution of mattresses and related products. Safety is essential in this busy environment, where electric forklifts and pallet trucks are constantly on the move. Sleepworld wanted to better protect its employees and prevent damage to racks, columns and critical installations.
RACK END
Powerful safety solutions
BOPLAN installed various types of safety barriers in strategic locations. Each with the appropriate impact resistance for its zone. Each element is tailored to the specific risk, combining strength, flexibility and aesthetics.
The Rack End provides protection for the ends of racks. This safety solution absorbs the impact of heavy collisions when entering and exiting aisles and, thanks to its modular, shape-restoring design, is ideal for intense forklift traffic.

Universal rack protector
Universal protectors that fit any rack support. They are flexible, fit perfectly, absorb frontal and side impacts, and stay firmly in place. Even under repeated impact. In warehouses where every square centimetre counts, RACKBULL® ensures protection without taking up space.
TB400 safety barrier
Targeted protection for critical areas
TB 400 for charging stations and around pillars. This robust safety barrier absorbs impacts to prevent damage to charging infrastructure or columns.
Heavy-duty bollards
BO IMPACT bollards protect gates and fire-fighting equipment. Compact, highly visible and with high impact resistance, they are ideal for protecting critical areas.
Height restrictors
The vulnerable fire sprinkler pipes were given dedicated protection with the GOAL POST. This height restrictor prevents forklifts from hitting the pipes.
Column and corner protection
We installed CP Universal column protections around the building’s columns. They absorb light impacts and help guide traffic. In areas where wall corners were frequently hit, Corner Protectors now provide subtle yet effective protection against abrasion and impact damage.
FLIP180L M
Plinth protection
Safety was also addressed at ground level. The FLIP180L M plinth protection protects the ends of racks where goods are stacked. The plinth prevents damage from forklift forks when setting down or picking up loads.
