Boplan's FLEX IMPACT® handrails enable you to create a clear, logical separation between people and vehicles at your workplace. Our flexible handrails are available in three versions, from light to heavy, to meet your specific safety requirements. You can choose between two or three rails, depending on the area you need to secure. Every Boplan handrail is manufactured with a high-quality, high-performance polymer.
You can use our handrails in combination with our floor marking tape, or use our handrails as railing on mezzanine and elevated areas. From hand rails to protect machines and pedestrians, reinforced guard rails to separate pedestrians from vehicles, to cost-effective perimeter fencing to secure high-risk areas with heavy traffic. Or even safety barriers to protect people from falling objects and goods. We have the right handrail for every application.
Boplan's FLEX IMPACT® handrails provide a multifunctional rail system for both indoor and outdoor use. In addition to clearly demarcating walkways, our handrails are often used as fall protection systems to enable people to work safely at height (mezzanines or work platforms). Our hand rails are also ideal for protecting people from poorly stacked goods and/or falling products in areas with no forklift traffic.
Boplan's handrails are also easy to combine with our other products, such as our safety barriers, rack protectors, and bollards.
Our polymer handrails and balustrades are also available in a glow-in-the-dark look. These railings have a luminescent line that absorbs light during the day. When it becomes dark in the evening or if the power fails, these glow-in-the-dark handrails gradually release the light absorbed for nearly 30 minutes. This gives people more than enough time to find the emergency exits or evacuation corridors.
Handrails are a safety solution that guides pedestrians, restricts access, and blocks off hazardous areas to keep people safe. Handrails can also be used to prevent falls from dangerous heights. As such, handrails help to keep people safe and protect goods in the workplace. Handrails are often placed near stairs, walkways, and machines in warehouses, distribution centers, factories, and industrial environments.
With our FLEX IMPACT® product range, Boplan offers handrails for both industrial and commercial environments. Our flexible handrails are available in three versions: from lightweight handrails (HD LIGHT) to heavy-duty handrails (HP PLUS). All of our handrails are manufactured with a high-quality, high-performance polymer that outperforms traditional materials like steel and concrete. Our handrails are also easy to combine with our other products, such as our safety gates, safety barriers, and bollards.
There are many reasons why you need handrails:
In short, handrails help create a safe work environment for employees, significantly reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
Boplan recommends using industrial handrails in areas where pedestrians are at risk or where support and stability are required. By this, we mean platforms, walkways, mezzanines, and other raised areas. At ground level, handrails guide and separate the flow of traffic. Here are a few specific applications:
