Boplan teams up with Unilin Insulation to advance zero-harm safety vision

Protecting pedestrians and infrastructure from collisions
Our safety solutions at Unilin Insulation:
The clear floor marking tape in Unilin Insulation’s warehouses makes walkways highly visible. This ensures pedestrians stay alert while navigating the workplace. Boplan's physical protection solutions also play a critical role. In the storage area of the Desselgem site, forklifts are used intensively on a daily basis. To address this, we installed safety barriers of various sizes and applications to optimally protect pedestrians and infrastructure. Boplan conducted a comprehensive needs analysis in collaboration with Unilin Insulation.

Safety barriers with handrails
Physical protection was installed along walkways to prevent pedestrians from entering the warehouse and being directly exposed to forklift traffic. The TB 400 Plus safety barriers ensure clear separation and safe crossings.
Kick rails and height restrictors
We installed kick rails along the walls. This ensured effective protection against forklift damage without limiting aisle space. The TB MINI with a 5 kJ impact resistance was also installed. This barrier, consisting of a single tube just above ground level, absorbs collisions with light rolling stock.
Goalposts were installed to protect gates from collisions. These durable height restrictors provide physical protection while improving driver visibility. A unique feature of this installation is its impressive height of over 20 feet (6 meters), customized for this location.
