The primary function of a safety gate is to prevent people from entering an unsafe zone. A safety gate forces pedestrians to stop and open the gate before entering or leaving a safe zone. It makes them think twice before acting. 

We offer safety gates with sliding doors, safety gates that open with an upward motion, safety gates with a self-closing side swing gate, (reinforced) loading bay fall protection systems, and belt barriers. For working at height or in other hazardous situations, we have developed an industrial safety gate and safe fall protection: the DOUBLE AXES GATE.

Falling from height is a real risk in industrial environments. The DOUBLE AXES GATE prevents you from stepping into or falling through an opening by closing it securely. This gate is the best choice for securing caged ladders and blocking access to machines and work platforms at height. The SINGLE AXES GATE is designed to block access to hazardous zones and machines on the ground floor. The AXES GATE was Boplan’s very first product and has since been perfected down to the smallest detail. Loading docks and elevated platforms pose a serious risk of falls in industrial environments. Boplan’s DOCK GATES provide a robust and impact-resistant solution that acts as fall protection or as an impact-resistant barrier arm to close off access to a specific area.

The FLEX IMPACT® DG250R is a manual safety gate with an impact resistance of 10.2 kJ on both bars and posts. The FLEX IMPACT® DG250R AE offers the same superior protection on the bars and is motorised for added efficiency and convenience.

For ultimate impact resistance, the DG250F offers 16 kJ of protection - the strongest polymer dock gate in the world. Tested to UNI TS 11886 standards, it’s the first and only gate certified for impact resistance on both bars and posts, making it the first choice for maximum dock safety.

Secure closure of aisles and machine rooms

Safety and ease of use are two serious matters. That's why our safety gates are compatible with our other safety solutions. In addition, both the sliding gates and the swing gates have a self-closing system. This ensures smooth and safe traffic between the different zones of the company. A self-closing gate is also ideal for corridors and machine rooms where authorised access is required. A bollard with a belt barrier also provides additional flexibility to close off a zone quickly.
