HP PLUS 3 RAILS handrails were also installed in strategic locations to guide pedestrians. They create a clear physical separation between walkways and zones used by rolling equipment. With an impact value of up to 5.5 kJ, they form a strong visual and physical buffer.
A workpost on the shop floor is protected by means of the TB 400 PLUS. This FLEX IMPACT® solution combines the impact resistance of the TB 400 with the enhanced protection of the HP PLUS handrail. With an impact rating of up to 20.1 kJ, it constitutes the ideal barrier to protect this zone from forklift traffic.
At strategic points along the walkways, self-closing SWING GATES require users to come to a complete stop before entering a forklift zone. The gate opens toward the user, creating a natural stopping effect that increases alertness.
The DOCK GATE FORCE safety gate with double rails acts as fall protection at loading docks, but – as shown here – it can just as easily be used to shield critical areas. Depending on the model, this gate withstands impacts of up to 10 kJ and allows forklifts to pass safely without putting pedestrians at risk.
