Tour de Pologne puts safety first with Boplan partnership

The safety of riders during races organized by Lang Team remains the top priority. For the fifth consecutive year, the routes of Tour de Pologne will be secured by modern safety solutions from Boplan.

Road cycling is a high-risk sport. Riders race across thousands of kilometers at high speeds and in varied terrain. Whether it’s sprint finishes, descents or other critical sections of the route – riders safety is essential.

Crashes are an inevitable part of cycling, and while they cannot be completely avoided, innovative solutions can significantly reduce their consequences. That’s why for the past five years Tour de Pologne has partnered with the Belgian company Boplan, a manufacturer of cutting-edge safety solutions. Boplan's products are exported to over 80 countries, where they help protect people, vehicles, and infrastructure.

When organizing races, the most important thing is the safety of the riders. As organizers, we are required to meet a range of standards imposed by the UCI and national regulations. These barriers ensure that safety at the Tour de Pologne is at the highest possible level.

Since 2019 – in line with its mission to create the safest possible working environments – the company has also been active in sports. Its distinctive safety systems are used in road cycling, triathlon, BMX, and track and field events.

During the 82nd edition of Tour de Pologne the iconic yellow Boplan safety installations will once again be visible along the race route. These include synthetic shock-absorbing barriers and totems, designed to protect riders during the most critical moments of the race. Boplan's solutions significantly enhance rider safety in all conditions.

The continued partnership with Boplan proves that the organizers of Tour de Pologne treat the safety of participating athletes as an absolute priority.
