Amstel Gold Race and Boplan continue cooperation in 2025

After a successful first collaboration in 2024, the Amstel Gold Race and Boplan are joining forces again this year to further strengthen safety on and around the course. Boplan, a Belgian company specialising in high-quality safety solutions, will again make a vital contribution to protecting riders, spectators and staff during the race weekend.

Like last year, the entire course will be put under the microscope to accurately map risky points. At strategic locations along the route, 28 Race Totems, 132 Bumpers and 134 Pillars will be placed. These eye-catching, impact-absorbing elements provide better signalling and extra protection at speed bumps, sharp turns, obstacles and narrow passages, among others. Their presence contributes to a clearer and safer course - both for the riders, the organisation and emergency services.

Race director Leo van Vliet looks ahead with confidence: ‘Last year's cooperation with Boplan showed how important it is not to leave safety to chance. Thanks to their efforts and materials, we were able to reduce risks in many crucial places. That gave peace of mind, both for the riders and for us as an organisation. We are therefore pleased that we can also count on their expertise and commitment in 2025.’

This year's Amstel Gold Race weekend will take place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April 2025. Both the men's and women's race will benefit from the extensive safety measures supported by Boplan. More information about the course can be found via the Amstel Gold Race's official communication channels.
