BOPLAN® new safety partner of the Tour de Pologne

The innovative BOPLAN® RACE BARRIERS among the novelties of the 2021 edition.

BOPLAN® is pleased to announce the partnership with the Tour de Pologne, UCI WorldTour, as exclusive safety partner for the race. In this capacity BOPLAN® will provide various safety solutions, including the BOPLAN® RACE BUMPERs, RACE TOTEMs and for the finish area the new RACE BARRIERs.

These safety barriers, already employed in some Belgian WorldTour races, will be used for the first time in a stage race through a logistical effort also made possible by the commitment of Drutex, one of the official sponsors of the Tour de Pologne that will manage the handling of the BOPLAN® RACE BARRIERs and the other protective devices.

The shock-absorbing polymer barriers will be placed at the stages’ finish, other protective devices will be positioned in some critical places such as traffic islands and as a protection of other potential obstacles along the course.

While waiting for the Tour de Pologne, scheduled from 9 to 15 August, the BOPLAN® RACE BARRIERs will be used for the first time by the organization in the ORLEN Nation Grand Prix, a U23 race involving national teams that will take place in Poland on the 29 and 30 May and is part of the prestigious UCI Nation's Cup challenge.
